Steve Nichols has been a trusted insurance professional for nearly four decades, beginning his career in 1986 selling Disability Insurance to businesses. He later joined Prudential Insurance, where he spent seven years serving clients in the San Bernardino and Riverside areas as a Life Insurance and Financial Planning Agent. During that time, he earned his Property & Casualty, Variable, and Series 6 licenses, along with his LUTCF designation.
Steve expanded his expertise in Commercial Insurance while working with agencies specializing in business coverage, including Commercial Property, Liability, Auto, and Workers’ Compensation. In 1998, he founded Steve Nichols Insurance Services in Moreno Valley, eventually growing the business to five offices throughout the Inland Empire.
As the insurance industry evolved, Steve strategically consolidated operations while continuing to grow through acquisitions. In 2009, he was given the opportunity to acquire the well-established Jay Pogue Insurance Agency, a respected Riverside agency founded in 1973. After managing the agency for several years, he officially purchased it in 2012.
Today, Steve leads both Jay Pogue Insurance Agency, Inc. and Are You Covered, Inc., two family-owned businesses dedicated to providing personalized insurance solutions and exceptional customer service.
